I’ve been missing my paints and mist lately and decided to take them out to play. I went a little cautious with this layout. It was a little understated but the effect worked with the photo.
The flowers gave the page lots of texture but didn’t make it any less masculine.

Just a few more days of November and we would have arrived at the very last month of the year ! It has been a whirlwind year and I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I can before the new year arrives. Here is a page I did a few weeks ago and forgot all about it.

It’s the school break and I hardly have time to sit down. The kids are constantly on the move and keeping me on my feet. Here is a layout done not too long ago. I can’t wait for some quiet time when they go back to school next week and I get to play with my paints again.
Texture added with gesso with a layering of stamped images.
Doodled over the leave cut out which I had colored with a mixture of mist.

It’s a cold and raining morning over here is Singapore But looking at this page really warms my heart. He’s getting shy in front of the camera but still willing to pause so I could take his pictures.

I totally love his enthusiasm for life and everything around him. 9th of August was Singapore’s Birthday and he was all excited about it. Asking his daddy to apply the tattoo on his face and making sure he was wearing his reddest tee shirt. So, here is a page totally inspired by him and our nation’s 49’s Birthday.
I sprayed the banners a mixture of colours since it was a Birthday celebration. I have to tell you that I’m in love with those Thickers with map prints. I have been hording them for sometime. Just love the effect.
I did give the background paper a mist of gold but the camera refused to pick that up. No worries, it can shimmer and shine for me alone.

I wanted to share this mini album that I created for my DT assignment for Ruby Rock-it last month. Since the RRBF Fundamental Cards had an embossed front which was really pretty, I wanted to use them as the mini album cover.
Basically, I painted the cover with some water colors and then rubbed brown ink all over to allow the embossed images to stand out.
The inside pages where all done with Bella! Year in Review collection.
The album pages were just tied together with ribbon and there you have it. A mini album for more precious photos.
