The alphabet die cut works perfectly with the photo and I really like how it draws the eye to the photo.

Here’s my take: photo Laugh_SB_30Jun14_zps2ec4db86.jpgI replaced one of the photo with a 3X4 Project Life/ Photo Pocket card. I love how the gold misted background still peaks from behind.

Lots of different text and words. I love how the overlap and complement one another.

Friendships

Here is my take on the challenge:

Can you spot the three stamps that I used. For this month’s challenge, not only did I use my stamps, I challenged myself to make use of the embossing powders that I have at home. I remember the frenzy we had when embossing powders was in the rage. Everyone wanted all the pretty colors but now we have learnt that a little embossing powder goes a long way so the best way to enjoy these are to share them with your friends.

 photo Friendship3_SB_24Apr14_zps17815eb6.jpg
photo Friendship2_SB_24Apr14_zpsec892ed6.jpgI’m loving the texture the Gesso and textured paste gives to a page. I hope you can see the rough textures I created and then added a splash of color over them with my Gelatos.

Saying Good Bye

Hello there. It’s the month of April and time for a brand new inspiration over at Ed Sketch  Create a layout with the sketch below and make sure you use an arrow stamp on you layout. Do remember to have fun.

 photo EdSketch_Mar2014_zps55f449c4.jpg

Here is my take on the challenge:

photo SayGoodBye_SB_26Mar14_zps53fec26a.jpgIt’s a picture taken at King Albert Park the week it was to be closed. My kids have been pass this place many times and it would be sad to see this icon pulled down.
 photo SayGoodBye3_SB_26Mar14_zps20f209ab.jpg
photo SayGoodBye2_SB_26Mar14_zpsb4a85451.jpgUsing several of AC stickers here. I had a pack of them but I didn’t like the quality. Stickers refused to come off the backing clean which didn’t make the creative experience too fun.

Of course the happy smile in the photo did make up for it.

Until my next post,

Cheers,

He is always ready with a smile.
 photo GrowingUp4_SB_13Feb14_zps2264eee8.jpg

I’m totally in love with this hexagon mask. The effect of the mask is wonderful when used with a mixture of green and blue mist. The lovely sentiment stamp is from Unity Stamps and it’s just so true.

 photo GrowingUp3_SB_13Feb14_zps62f452a1.jpg

This corner is a mishmash of elements that make be happy. It reminds me of a robin’s nest. A pretty collection of pretty items.
