Cuddle

How adorable is a little kid in a baby bath robe ? Too cute for words !! SO here’s a quick page before I run off to pick up the kids.

Love this crochet flower. I just cannot seem to crochet one myself no matter how many times I try so I guess I just have to spend some money.

Simple cut-out and a hand cut tab.

Come back soon. I’m thinking of a small giveaway soon.

Happy

Nothing makes my kids happier than to be outdoors and one of our recent family outdoor time has been to go out to the cycling track. It’s has been very liberating to be able to go somewhere fast with minimal effort.

Similarly it is very liberating to just splatter paint on a piece of cardstock not knowing how the end result will turn out. Somedays it’s good for the soul to take tiny risk. You never know what you will discover.

I coloured in the bicycle from Unity Stamps. Seems like I have stamps hidding in my cupboards which need to see the light of day.

Ciao.

Sunshine

Happy cherry colours for a happy photo. That grin can brighten up my mornings in no time. Mr Cheeky has been up at the crack of dawn to bid his big brother good bye as he gets ready for school. Yes some days I do wish he can grow up so it makes my life easier but the other half of me wants this little baby to be by my side for a while longer.

The banner is actually what’s life of the paper after I cut out the triangles for another banner for a different layout. Looks good on the page and nothing is wasted.

I’m off to do some creating. Catch up soon.

1st Luge Ride

Busy times with the school holidays here. I’ve been trying to keep a balance of play and revision since it’s only a short 1 week break. Good thing we managed to complete our to do list early in the week as it was been raining cats and dogs since yesterday. We brough the kids back for another set of ludge ride during the weekend as they just couldn’t get enough. This layout was about their previous trip.

Trying to keep the page simple as the blue background paper is so pretty.

Using strips of paper just like you would with ribbons. Good way to use up those scraps.

Alright will try and post again this week. Catch you again soon.

Recording Our Memories

Is it March already ?! Time sure flies by. Here is the new Ed Sketch for the month of March. Remember to use your butterfly stamps with this sketch.

A rare photo of my husband since he is usually the one holding the camera. I dipped into my stash of masking tape for this one by Tim Holtz. Perfect for the manly page.

Lots of butterflies doesn’t make it any less manly. it’s knowing who you are inside that matters more than the outside package. I layered the punched out butterflies and bend the wings a little for more texture.

I found this camera stamp at the LSS recently. Just had to grab it. So happy that it stamps really clear and sharp.

This is the last week of the school term. I’m looking forward to a much need break even if it’s only one week.
